Unique, The Artist Who Was not There is a music competition atypical early stage of selection. In fact, it will be the preparation full of the island to handle the first phase of selection and then call to share the final choices with a prestigious jury outside (formed by artists, journalists, radio DJs, record producers, management, event organizers, press offices, arrangers , managers of local ...).
The criterion used in selection will take into account various factors, including the originality of the proposal but also the ability to express a new way of conceiving the "Italian music", a proposal that knows how to combine tradition and therefore new musical stimuli, regardless gender and stylistic used.
The final evening will be held Sunday, June 19 2011, in the event "The Word Cantata" , one of the most important summer event dedicated to Italian music and sees the artistic director Mauro Ermanno Giovanardi.
Like every year, while the final will be many qualified jurors and some guests (in previous years artists such as System Of A Down, Alberto Fortis, the Pacific and many others) that will give more visibility to the finalists.
